Quantum DLTtape IIIXT 1/2-inch data cartridges are designed exclusively for use with the DLT 2000XT, DLT 4000, DLT 7000, and DLT 8000 tape drives, as well as DLT loaders and libraries with these tape drives inside.

They are made of metal particle formulation for high durability, and therefore can withstand 1,000,000 passes MTBF. These cartridges have an archival storage life of 30 years.
